I'm kinda wanting to do the opposite... I might gunna buy a 07 VTi which doesn't have the steering wheel volume. I will keep the standard head unit but I want the volume controls on the wheel!

I noticed it would be easy tophysically installthe button assembly(as a spare part) but does anyone know if the required wiring is inplace inside the steering wheel?

there are two types of the steering wheel adapters, one is for sonys and pioneers because the have a wired remote plug in the back and the other is for everything else(it will work with sonys and pioneers but if u have one of those it makes for a cleaner install) but that pac is the brand we always use at work. they arent hard to hook up there is a wire(s) that u need to tap into that are already on your cars factory radio harness, the hard part is programing because if u make one mistake u have to start over again......watch the blinking light lol
