steering wheel controls
i had pioneer avic-x910bt installed in my 2010 civic ex coupe the shop wired the unit to work with the factory steering wheel controls - but only problem the channel up and down does not cycle through radio presets - it only controls the tuning up or down. would anyone know if that is normal? and the shop said they can not guarantee after market unit will work exactly the as the factory. any help please!

Should have left stock radio in......... its a 2010 civic, what did you need to upgrade to?

I wanted navi none of my local dealers could get me a coupe with nav in the color I wanted.

The shop warned you about this happening beforehand. This problem is to be expected.

Yeah man at least they told you they werent sure.
At least it controls SOMETHING lol. at least its not just there with no use at all IMO |
Yea I don't think we'd be able to help you find a solution, that's something that would have to be looked at in person. I don't think they'll be able to change it though. Honestly, like DaOne said, at least it does something. If that was my car and it controlled nothing I would be pretty disappointed.

I have pioneer X930BT installed in my Civic Coupe 2012, and steering wheel control for phone calls does not work. Volume/channel control does not always hook up either, but the phone controls simply never work. Does anyone know how to solve a problem or where to look at?
