Stereo Systems

I'm looking for a decent system, 2 10inch subs and I'm pretty sure im gonna need new speakers installed as well. Any suggestions on what types of subs, boxes, speakers, and if necessary tweeters. I'm looking to stay under $1,000 but getting the best out of my money.

Depends on how much power you want.

I have Two 12' subs (cerwin vega), cost me 300 for both. A simple box cost me 80.
I have kenwood speakers on mine so far they've kicked ass. But i recommend Pioneer speakers. =)
I have 2 alpine tweeters, and they sound great! Especially with the equalizer, you can equalize how much
tweet you want out of them. =) Go for alpine.

Is installing all of this difficult or would I be able to do it with a minimum amount of trouble? And how much total did it cost you?

Its not difficult at all if all your going to do is connect the speakers. If you already have
amplifiers/fusebox/capacitor in place then you should be fine.

Just know the difference between ( + , - )

No trouble at all for the experienced. But, if your a noob at doing this kind of stuff i recommend
you get professional installation. You dont wanna short circuit your system. I've seen it happen.

Total cost for me was about800-900 for the entire system (including stereo, wiring, speakers, subs, box,
fuses, capacitor, amplifiers, equializer, dynamat.)

Cheap price because i bought many things used. Such as: 1 of my amps, Stereo, Equalizer.

yea I'm a noob haha. I'll just research it and see what I can do, I need to learn how to do it and know where some of the wires go to incase i need to change something. I know that I can make the box, and I can get deals at best buy for some of the other stuff. If anyone has any suggestions of websites where I can learn how to do it, or buy any of this stuff that is trustworthy that would be greatly appreciated
