Stock Headlights 55w can i get 35w?

Buying HIDS and the stock headlights are 55 watts and the ones I am getting are 35 watts..is this a problem?

HIDs are higher intensity. They'll be ok, but won't work as great in the stock housings. The stockers are meant for a halogen bulb, whereas HIDs are usually xenon.

HIDs are always xenon. They can be used with reflector headlights, but the headlights must be designed for use with HID lights or else the beam pattern will be horribly scattered and will give only the illusion of better lighting; in reality, it will put a good part of the light in places that give no benefit while driving at night.
