Default Tips on carpeting sub box.

Hey,

Well I built the box. Solid as a rock. Cut out the speaker holes, jack box, added the cotton stuff to substitue polly fill but ive messed up the carpting. The guy at the audio store said contact cement. I got some 3M waterbased stuff and its white and went right through the carpet. Not only that but it didnt stick very well. What do you guys recommend? Any tips? Im doing it so its a wrap around and then the seams will be at the end and underneath. Also links to products I can use as glue would be great. Maybe just regular contact cement?

Thanks
Jeff
