or you could get the little apple that is 6x6x2.5 and do everything wirelessly, and not need an ipod, cds, dvd player, surroud sound capability, wireless internet, all for only 500 dollars.

true, but apples are way better designed computers than anything that is windows based. the G5 has no wires on the inside, if you want to add anything to it, you buy it and clip it in where it goes. the computers are sleek and clean outside and inside

My PC would contend with that statement, oh wait Apple doesn't run anything I need. [:'(] Apple is only great if you love proprietary hardware/software with the upgradabilty of a cray.

The only thing that Apple has going for it is a) they can market average products as something from heaven, and b) OS-X is BSD based

I know a guy who built a computer for his BMW without a kit. About teh Apple/PC thing, i do believe that PCs are better than Apples. If you have to do video/sound/picture editing, Apple is definatly the way to go. However, for everday use PCs can't be beat. There are alot more software and perhipherals available for PCs.

I know a few people who have done that, but this thing is the size of your aftermarket HU. I've priced a custom built PC and it comes out to roughly the same price (maybe 50 bucks different) for the same quality.
