Default Using Great Stuff?

I've been informed that filling the gaps of the trunk lid in with Great Stuff expanding foam really helps with trunk lid rattle. Are there any precautions (and warnings) I should know before I do this to my car?

Just put a little bit at a time in so that it dries well and you don't end up cutting a bunch out because it expands quite a bit.

The bad thing with Great stuff is that it expands like ngoti8tor sead, there was a post on this a wile ago,if you go back you can find it probably,it was a big one on sound detining...but ya, this guy used the the Great stuff for his trunk and put it slowly so it will dry, but apparintly it expands over a couple days too, and a couple days later it made his trunk all dented because it keeped on expanding, so i wouldent recommend it..

dont do it. its messy as all hell, and it can literally ruin your car. it WILL keep expanding, and will probably bend the metal out. Im a bathroom remodeler, and i use that stuff all the time. its not good for cars. i still have some on my spoiler that wont come off.

What other product can I use to fill in the trunk lid then, if I don't use Great Stuff?

They sell less expanding foam (it's actually made for installing windows so that it doesn't expand and crack the glass or bow the frames). It's a bit more expensive than the normal Great Stuff foam.
