Would spraying the inside of the trunk lid with dynashield spray work?

 

What I did to solve this problem was I shoved some plastic grocery bags into those cracks until the rattling was gone!!! I put them in there and I haven't had a rattle since! This was like last December too, I forgot that I had even done that until I read this thread. Works great, it's free, and it's easy!
