voltage of electrical system
 

all this talk about my alternator lead me to start thinking about beffing up my electrical system...what would it take to get my electrical system up to dish out 14.4 volts....stock is 12v right? im going to get a hihg output alternator and then woul di need a new battery

well theroretically speaking, your alternator is supposed to keep you at 14.4 volts on the battery. A high output will help you out alot if your going in with a system, and a battery is good too. I think (correct me if im wrong) optima discontinued the battery that fits in a honda, but stinger and other are always options.

Big 3, a few batteries and HO alt. Lots of 0 gauge running int he car too.

what he said, except depends on how ig your system and such is going to be, lol. A high output alt. normally works for people, generaly only competion systems also need more batteries (big 3 isnt a bad idea, cheap and effective)
