RE: What kind of speakers.

good head unit there
Dont let anybody fool you either, Alpine is the best bang for you buck out there, and they have the speaker quality to hang with the best. Depending on how much your looking to spend, i'de say go with,

REAR SPEAKERS -----------------------------------------------------------FRONT SPEAKERS
Alpine SPR-69LP 6x9" (Type-R)------------------------------------------- SPR-17LS 6-1/2" (Type-R)
power Handling Capacity (RMS): 55W ------------------------------------Power Handling Capacity (RMS): 70W
Power Handling Capacity (Peak): 275W --------------------------------- Power Handling Capacity (Peak): 350W
$190.00----------------------------------------------------------------------$280.00

OR if you not wanting to spend that much, these speakers are also very nice sounding

REAR SPEAKERS -------------------------------------------------------------FRONT SPEAKERS
SPS-69C2 (Type-S) ----------------------------------------------------------SPS-17C2
6x9" Coaxial 2-Way Speaker ----------------------------------------------- 6-1/2" Coaxial 2-Way Speaker
Power Handling Capacity (RMS): 50W --------------------------------------Power Handling Capacity (RMS): 50W
Power Handling Capacity (Peak): 250W ------------------------------------Power Handling Capacity (Peak): 250W
$120.00 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- $120.00
Hope this helps out

RE: What kind of speakers.

You can cruise E-gay for same speakers at a better price or find some really nice components...
What kind of system do you want in your car? Money is no matter = MB quarts, Focals, Memphis, or better..but they need power to sound good. Are you looking for over all Sound quality or Sound loudness? SQ is set up much differently then for SPL.
SO...
Just deck and good speakers...
or
Deck, amps, wiring, speakers and subs?

Alpine, same speakers as i said above, thats best for the money. If your looking to put in subs too, ide say one or two alpine type S's or R's with a nice little amp. That outa give you a nice rumbling feeling with good sound quality:)

i have alpine everything - type r speakers ( front and back ) and 2 type r 12's. the speakers sound really good and i payed 90 for the rear ones and 140 for the front which came with tweeters and crossovers.

RE: What kind of speakers.

Please, please don't buy Alpine everything. Infinty, JBL, MB Quartz... anything but Alpine.
