Will a Infinity 6.5" 652i Speaker fit in my Stock Door Panel?
Someone is selling 2 Infinity 6.5" 652i Speakers for 50$ CDN (Is this a good deal?). I have a totally stock 1999 Civic si and I want to replace my door panel speakers with them. http://www.dromesound.com/Websitepic...io/Irs652i.jpg
They seem to have 4 screw holes as opposed to 3 screw holes with the stock honda speakers. How easy will it be for me to put them in? Will I have to drill into the plastic? Will I have to Chop the Wiring Clip for a direct connection?

According to Crutchfield, the front speaker size is 6.5" so I would go ahead and buy them. As for the fourth screw, just make a new hole in the plasic. And for the connection, just tap into the wires before the connector. There is no reason to remove the connector itself. Is it a good deal? Don't know that one. I've found them from $89.99-$150.00 US dollars new.
i would go for it, but the nice thing abooot crutchfield is that they give you the harness and adapter mounts. but for 50 dollars thats pretty good if you can wire it.
i am not sure on the model number but i have the infinity's in my car depth is the only concern cause you will have to cut the back plastic off the door to make them fit but think of this most aftermarket speakers will require this anyway as for wiring them just have them soldered so you dont have to buy and special harnesses hope this helps
