hey guys this is my first post here, while searching around since I bought my civic two months ago. i installed my old hu into this car and now my taillights and interior lights (by hvac controls) don't work. While connecting hareness I attached both dimmer and illumination wires together and I think that caused the issue I am having now. Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks

 

Yeah do not connect those together. After disconnecting, replace the tail light fuse and the tail light should work. If the dash lights still don't work you probably also burned out the dimmer control.

 

Why would you connect those two? you might have fried something.
