i am thinking about getting 2 12" xenon subs to go with my 1500w Phoenix Glod amp. Does anybody know the preformance of the xenon's, how well do they work & do you suggest anything else that might be better thats not really expensively(over $300 on ebay is to much).

 

iv never even heard of them..is that just a modle name from a certain company?

 

Try to find a dealer that sales directed audio they are a great company and look at the extreme line they don't cost that much and I just got one extreme for 12 for $89 and it sounds great. ARC audio is another one. This is all new stuff and there prices aren't that high yet because they are trying to make a name for there selfs. Check my pics out.

 

I know of Directed Audio but never heard of xenon. Directed audio owns A/D/S (which I run and f'n love!) and Orion.

 

Your right remmy. They have own the extreme line that I bought also. It's has the directed logo on the boxes that it came in.

 

I believe the Xenon subs are made by Phoenix Gold. Here is a pic of it.One sub can preform at 500/900w

Yeah, PG makes the xenon subs. From what i have heard about them they are a very good bang for the buck. They dont his quite as hard as some others, and they might not match the SQ of something like an infinity kappa VQ, but for the price and overall quality of them they are a great value.
