Fist attempt at making a signature

To start off im going to say I am very, very bad at photo editing, and anything in that category. This is what I came up with.
Anyone got any tips/tricks?

I just upload it in Tinypic.com and then edit it there...

Its amazing and very simple once you start messing around with stuff
