but every muffler tip i see is chrome

do they make black mufflers?

or can u get them painted?

i sprayed my whole moped paint with high heat paint but it did not work soo well so is there places that do this professionally?

 

so you want to paint a chrome tip black????????

ya it can be done easily enough...... first sand it so its all scuffed up, clean it realy good and just use some heat paint and it should be just fine...

i put a chrome tip on my exaust and i just painted the muffler and pipes black so it hides it realy nicely so you just see the chrome tip.....

Ive seen a black exhaust before...i cant really remeber what it was called I think I saw it on clubcivic but it was rare

 

just a thought, haven't tried it, but take the tip and have it sandblasted. then apply SEVERAL, LIGHT layers of high temp paint.

 

i like the burnt tip ones. i think those look good, but i only have a crome tip

 

that sounds like two three times as much work as most people want to do or can do.LOL

just buy your own exaust tip of the style you like... scuff up the clear coat or chrome or metal what ever it is made outta... sand it with some 600gril sand paper alittle and just spray it with some high temp black paint.... problem solved....
