i feel dumb saying this but......
i need help washing my car...lol...ok heres the thing,i went and bought some of that mequiars gold class wash and conditioner to do here at the house cause i thought it would be better for the car and also do a better job period....Now the reason i quit washing at the manual ones was that when i was done washing it and over to where you dry it off at by the time i got there it was already almost dried and streaked BAD.Ok so i had my car in the garage ALL day mostly until about 5 min till i washed it...the temp is 65 so that shouldnt be enough to make it streak right???....but everytime i washed the whole car then sprayed it off and used my waterblade i would step back to see how it looked and there was STREAKS EVERYWHERE......i repeated the process about 3 times and still the same thing,i know this is kinda stupid but i just wanted to ask and see if i was doing anything wrong or if its just how im doing it???
Well I have a couple tips. First, wash your car in the evening when the suns not directly over you, and its a bit cooler out. Then dry it off as soon as your out of the car wash. And use lint free towels to dry it off instead of the water blade.
well i got the waterblade cause alot of people said it was alot faster and even the DIY on here said that is was better so i thought i would get one...and i just thought since it wasnt even hot i thought that under the sun would be better cause so i could see where i was getting and where i wasnt....
yeah im pretty sure thats what im gonna do is get some detail spray and just use that.....**BONUS** today i ordered 2 bottles of that royal blue so im looking foward to doing my car with that,i hope it helps cause my black is alittle dull and LOTS of webbies....grrrrrrr
No joke I can never get my car to be TOTALLY streak free and 100% clean without at least 3 Wash's. Tips Ive come to learn. A, those sheep MIT's suck, they never get all the dirty off. I resort to the good old peanut sponge. Just make sure you rinse it often. Second thing Ive learned is once you dry the car (I do most with a California water blade and the rest with a micro fiber towel) and the car is complete dry and I go over it with a micro fiber towel and some Turtle wax ICE detailing spray:

Doing this gives me a super clean and a super shine. I also clean the windows AGAIN with stoners invisible glass. Other tips are use some goo gone on the bumper and hood to get the real sticky crap off and make sure you keep the car WET WHILE SOAPING. If the soap dries even a little it makes life a lot harder.
Cheers
Jeff
