To paint my valve cover I used semi-flat KRYLON enamel spray paint... to do my HONDA I used TESTORS brand Gloss Gray Gris Brilliant 2538 Enamel Paint Marker that I bought from a hobby shop... IT IS FANTASTIC! Since the valve cover heats up it actually smoothed out the paint and made it look very factory made... I made sure I used a fine grit sandpaper to rub it down and rub the enamel off the letters before i painted them!

I am test fitting a header for WestImports along with a high flow cat that Khanselman is sending me and after that I plan on updating my grounding wires (windcalmer, as soon as I get a better shot of my enginebay I will send it!) and that'll be all I can do until I scrap the whole thing and do the k series swap! I'll probably end up doing a k24 because it will be cheaper.

Moog, what kind of sandpaper did you use? i use 400 grit for things that just need to be ruffed up a bit, you know PPP (Prep, prime, and paint) is usally your best bet to keeping your paint in one place, and not having to worry about drips.....but thats only boatswain-mate talk....^^

It has been a couple weeks now and absolutely nothing wrong with the paint... it is smooth and looks like a factory painted it. I used super fine sandpaper... I dont know the grit but it was almost smooth enough to not really scratch unless I applied pressure.
