A lot of time and a lot of patience. You will have to sand the old paint off your rims, and probably wire brush and sand your calipers (it all depends on how rusty they are).

I Did my calipers a few weeks ago, not hard at all. I just used brake cleaner on the calipers, waited a couple minutes, then wire brushed. Did that about 5-8 times. Mine were pretty rusty tho and crumbly, you might want a mask for your mouth when you do this. Then what I did was tape off the rotor and any other stuff around the area then painted. light coats, with atleast 5 min in between each coat.

Yeah I did it with the duplicolor blue paint from autozone and it turned out really well. Ill try and post a pic but it never works when I try, and they turned out darker than the pic. But its really nice and wasnt hard at all. I decided to do the drums too cause I had extra paint.
