What brand and name of wax? I can't imagine a decent compound not removing wax streaks. Meguiar's scratch X has mild abrasives in it. It should be enough to remove wax streaks fairly easy. Even a little cheap $5 can Meguiar's Cleaner wax (paste) should remove streaks, with even milder abrasives than Scratch X should get it. You may need to use a car shampoo, remove all the surface wax and products and start over with a different product. Anyting streaking on 05 Acura paint is more than likely a problem product. Do you have any pics?

That explains it. It must be a repaint from an accident, because Acura has good quality paint. Sounds like an uneven or porous clear coating on that. Since it's so new, I would see if they'll repaint it...

That's strange for such new paint, maybe the manufacturer did screw it up. Is the whole car streaking or just certain panels. And out of curiosity, what kind of wax, applicator, and buffing towel are you using?
