Idk if this is a dead thread and I'll be shot for trespassing but does this apply to a '99 civic too? i need to know if I'll need to buy this "special" mount or not, on JDMUNIVERSE they made it sound like that kind of mount only applies to the 92' - 95' civics...need to know before i start to gather all my crap...

Yes, the EG parts will work just fine.

You need to loop the wire on the connector below the radio (that plugged into the automatic shifter) to disable the neutral safety switch. I want to say you connect the two black 12ga wires together, but I'm not positive; it's been a while since I did an auto/manual swap in an EK. Also, you'll want to wire for the reverse switch, as well as the clutch interlock switch (I believe only disabling the neutral safety switch effectively overrides the clutch interlock, but I'm not positive on that point).

ok where can i get the custom upper transmission mount for my ek. need it within 5 days and the only ones i can find are for eg's. or are they the same thing? i got the tranny with the stock manual transmission mount from the 95 civic, but will i need the custom one to keep my axle from getting worn out too fast?
