[8D]New here. Hello to all. I've got a 2000 Honda Civic Ex with 162K. It just stopped on me 2 days ago and when I try to crank it, it just spins. I've checked to see if it's the timing belt but it's okay (the rocker arms move). Now I'm checking to see if it's the fuel pump but how do you check this? And does it sound like it might be the PCM fuse? Could any of you send me a diagram or site for the diagram for the electrical system for this car please? I'm by no means a mechanic but I'm willing to learn more about my car. Thanks for any help or suggestions. ~Sam

 

Do you have spark at the plugs?

Do you hear the faint humming sound from the fuel pump when you turn the ignition key to ON without starting engine?

Answer to these two basic questions should help better focus your troubleshooting effort.
