Default 97 Civic - Keyless mysteriously stopped working

Hello all,

Last night I park my 97 Civic in it's usual spot. This morning, the keyless entry system stopped working. The red light comes on in both sensors but it just won't do anything to the car. Also, when the first time I put the key in the ignition, the doors locked and the horn started honking. It stopped when I started the car but the remotes still won't do anything. It worked last night. What happened while I was sleeping?

Thanks

Ignore this post. I only searched ECU & Electronics and I just found my answer in General Tech Help.

farkus - Would you mind posting the the thread you found the answer in? Mine stopped working today and I'm running my searches.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see you have a '97 where the keyless runs through the stereo. My '02 just stopped working today after driving. The transmitter still lights up, but nothing happens.

Thanks,
