Default AEM Fuel/Ignition Controller

Saw this in ImportTtuner today. It contorls both fuel and timing, works with OBD2 vehicles, and is still a piggy back. What do you guys think?

Seems way better than the Emanage or any other piggyback

The F/IC intercepts the signal to the stock injectors, allowing the user to modify pulse-width by +/-100%. The F/IC is the only piggy-back system that can decrease injector pulse-width, allowing the user to drive larger aftermarket injectors* while still maintaining proper air / fuel ratios. This powerful system can also tap into the factory injector signal and work independently to drive up to six (6) additional injectors.

lol i know, but in most peoples heads piggy-back automatically = only fuel control, but this does timing too

i know man, but we were talkin on AIM last night and you even told me you cant tune Hondata without some kinda extra board, and the closest place that tunes is like 7 hours away (with Hondata). Other htan that, i'm gonna havta tow my car like 9 - 10 hours and i aint lookin forward to it [&:]just lookin for other options, and since most people say Emanage is sh*t cuz of how it only does fuel, this does timing so it seemed aight.

I'll see what i can do though man

Can't you just leave the last peice of the charge piping off until you get there so it can't go into boost while you are driving it there or take the blow off valve off until you get there?

When you buy Hondata it all comes in the same box, everything you need. You also would send out a virgin P28 ECU to Hondata and they'll do the necessary modifications so that you can just plug it in and go.

7 hours is the closest person who tunes? There's has got to be someone a lot closer than that. Get on H-T and ask around on the FI forums, you'll probably find some people that are much closer to you.

okay, yeah, thread from the dead, but im getting desperate.

So you know i've got a turbo project thats almost complete, and the one guy i found up here that has all the good to tunes my OBD1 ECU for me is moving to California in a few weeks and i wont have it ready by then. There are others guy that can tune, but none of them have chip burners/romulators/etc. So my question is....

How bad is this AEM F/IC? Like seriosuly, i want some specific examples of what tuning on OBD1 does better than it. This thing does fuel control and timing control....what else does tuning the actual ECU do better than it? Theres seriously like nobody within 7 hours that can tune for me (as far as i know), but if worse comes to worse, on my mild boost setup would it be THAT bad to run this?

but always, theres still hope that i might find somebody that can tune for me. I asked around a few Civic websites for tuners near me and im just waiting for a response.....
