Alternator and the ECU

Default Alternator and the ECU

I have just replaced my alternator from 70 amps to a 150 amp HO alternator for my sound system. Someone told me i have to mod the ECU to allow it to use the full 150 amps how would i go abouts doing this

Car specs:

Honda civic EJ9 3 Door Hatch 1998 1.4i

i've never heard of having to do that
the crank turns the alternator and the alternator charges the battery. there's nothing for the ecu to adjust that has to do with that.
