i bought an afcII form apexi off of ebay and had it professionally installed (too scared to dig into the brains). is there any performance tuning that can be done with this or is just a fancy multi-guage? i have a cold air intake, full exhaust, no-cat, a 4-2-1 header, and underdrive pulleys. can i do any tuning or did i blow $300? please help

 

why do you need tuning? you didnt do any mods that would need any tuning. you did basic mods (boltons)

you only need a vafc if your boosting really, and a vafc is not really the BEST way to tune anyway

 

if you go turbo at least you have it. you can tune it slightly and maybe gain another couple hp. its really only to scale down bigger injectors

 

so unless i start boosting i want be able to see any horses produced from this thing? can i get better fuel economy by messin with the air/fuel flow?

 

i wouldnt, you pull too much fuel.... detonation=bad

im thinking about putting a 50 shot of nitrous on it and porting and polishing the head. what would you suggest i do then? if anything?
