Can I use an Apexi Power FC to control B16A2 turbo as a direct replacement (i know that i would need to be set-up, just wanted to know if they done it for the B16A2 application). What the opinions of the Apexi FC?

Ive got a 99 Si with the power fc. Im using a standalone setup and running at 10psi. Its a great system. The car runs flawlessly. (haha up until 2 weeks ago i wouldnt have been able to tell you jack).
But apparently, the setup i have could have been layed out better. Its a great start though.

It is not that it's bad but with Hondata, Uberdata, Crome(nothing runs a honda better than a honda ecu) IMO there is no reason to go full stand alone unless you are built and/or you plan to race the car in sanctioned events.

Next step up for me would be the AEM EMS which has got to be the most user freindly full stand alone for the price. The Power FC just can not compare to what else is out there. I got told one time by a Mitsu Tuner that I will not repeat his name cause he is employed by a very well known shop and tunes a very well known car with a EMS fuel management. He said and I quote. "I dont know why Honda guys are so quick to jump on the stand alone bandwagon, if I had the ability to do the stuff you guys can with a Mitsubishi ecu I would never go full stand alone"

He was talking about Uber, Crome, and Hondata. The Power FC is more catered to Mazda and Nissan than Honda, not saying they will not work and work great in the correct hand cause they will but there are far cheaper methods to go with the same results if not a lil better.
