Default apexi neo

im going to try and install my apexi neo. i really dont know where to start though. first off, i have a 2000 civic si. what is that considered? an EK4? i need to know this so i will know which terminal table to look at. and on these wires, do i just hook all of the colors to the SAME colors in the ecu?

the first link is for a list of Chassis Codes, and it says this: EM1 - USDM 99-00 Si coupe B16A2

and the second link is a link to a Plug-n-play harness for the Apexi Neo, then you just pick your ECU, which would completely eliminate splicing wires, and removing it would be a breeze

pick my ecu? get a new one? and about those chassis codes, i know my car is an em1 but in the apexi book that IS NOT listed. it has a few different ones with b16a2 engines listed and those are....ek3, eg6, ef9, ej1....

no, it means pick the ECU you already have, and i beleive 96-98 is OBD2A and 99-00 is OBD2B, so pick the B

and with that website you dont have to worry about your chassis code, just pick the ECU and yu're all set, which would eliminate any splicing of the wires

i understand the confusion, but it doenst go in any open spot, it goes in between the ECU and the harness that plugs into the ECU, then the harness that plugs into the Neo is already spliced off of that with the correct wires going to the correct pins on the Neo's harness.

I was confused at first with my turbo timer harness becasue i couldnt find any open spot, but then i understood

I have an Apexi Neo for my 04 Si and when i bought it, it came with a wiring diagram. I know that you MUST run it off the Pressure sensor, with 6 in and 6 out. As for the wiring, there are 8 or so wires out of the harness that you actually use. some you splice in to the factory harness and some you run into the Neo and out of the Neo.
