Default can you run a colder tst in a civic..

what is the heat range of a stock tst in a 99 lx civic?

Running a colder stat.. better. I no on a blown car its better but i dont no about na car..

the reason i live in hot weather i wanted to make the car run colder but not to cold to set engine lights

Your OEM thermostat should say 78º C on it, which would be the 170º thermo. You can't go colder than that as far as I know of, as I think 170º is the lowest available (isn't it?).

Found this info after replying to your PM. The temp of the thermostat is the temp it is rated to begin opening, not be fully open.

Should just buy the OEM one from Honda... they last for-freakin-ever.
