Just finished a engine swap, now running a 1.6vtec b16a2. It was fine for a few days now it just won't start. Theres no fuel coming up, no spark.

I have checked the obvious fuses, read alot about main relay, so tried my friends..still nothing. The engine management light is on which it wasn't before, with no sound of the fuel pump priming when ignition is on either. Checked/cleaned all ground cables. Its odd for it to suddenely just die with no warning

Could my ecu be shot. (as before i could get error codes from it ...now i can't)

I'm using a p30. Its strange because before i could attach 2 wires together from the harness I'm using to recover any error codes from the ecu...but now that is not even working.

Would a p28 ecu run? As its seems very difficult to locate another p30 to try
