Ok I'm going to check for spark and see if the fuse blows with the main relay unplugged. I'm not going to change any of the other fuses until this problem is fixed. I might have to get my car towed to my house, i have to get a ride to it everytime I need to work on it!

On your first trip, also check the ground wire on the thermostat housing.

Aw man didn't see this message until I got back and I of course forgot to check the thermostat ground wire.
However, I checked for spark on every wire and NOTHING! I have no spark at any of the plugs. I put in a new fuse, unplugged the main relay and tried starting and Pop goes the fuse.
Where do I go with this now? I have friends telling me its probably the distributor or an ignition relay or the alternator?

1) Remove the ground wire on the thermostat housing. Use steel wool to thoroughly clean it and where it connects. Tighten the ground wire down and retest whether fuse 12 blows.

2) Disconnect the connector on the alternator. Retest whether fuse 12 blows.

3) Disconnect the connector on the IACV. Retest whether fuse 12 blows.

4) Disconnect the connector on the VSS. Retest whether fuse 12 blows.

Ok I Disconnect the connector on the IACV, fuse 12 blows. I disconnected the connector on the VSS and put the key in the ON postion and the car starts...but without me even turning they key! It automatically starts when the key is in the ON position and when it is running I can hear something on the left side of the engine (90% sure its the starter) keeps spinning or doing something to make a loud zzzzzzz noise. I left it running about 30 seconds until whatever is making that noise started to smell like it was burning. I'm so confused now lol, what do I do now RonJ? I didnt drive it home because I didnt want whatever is whining to start a fire or something...fuse 12 doesnt blow with the VSS unplugged but the car starts itself.

You have two problems. A short in the VSS circuit and a bad ignition switch.

In the meanwhile, you may be able to get your car home by disconnecting the BLK/WHT wire on the starter solenoid and the VSS connector and then push starting the car [key in ON(II)] to drive it home.

Here's how to test and, if necessary, fix the ignition switch:

VSS circuit short:

Inspect the VSS connector and VSS. Do you see any damage, burned terminals, or liquid in or on the connector or VSS? Is the BLK/YEL wire damaged?

Also kind of confused with how to check continuity between the terminals. Could the problem be caused by something other than the ignition switch, or if I switch it will it likely solve that problem?
I'll check for shorts in the VSS wire and check the connector tomorrow. Is the ignition switch causing the starter to keep spinning?
