CEL Codes, Where to start

Hi,

I just downloaded the following codes from my 96 Civic LX 4 dr.

P0501
P1298
P0135
P0141
P0700
P0720

I know P135 and P141 refer to the O2 sensor and I certainly can handle that. My question is in regards to the other codes. These all seem to be transmission related. For example, what is a Countershaft speed sensor circuit malfunction, P0720? Is this just a bad sensor that I can replace? P0700 refers to a Transmission Control System.

The car drives fine, but the speedometer fluctuates wildly upon start up, sometimes even going all the way around. After about 30 minutes into my commute it the needle settles down and appears to act normal. The car shifts ok, but sometimes sputters at slow speed. I don't know if this is related to the speedometer problem.

Can someone point me in the right direction to start to diagnose this problem?

Thanks for the reply. I have already looked up the codes. I am just looking for how to proceed. Are the specific parts that I should check out or does this mean something internal is wrong with my transmission.
