sertain and i say sertain!! cops love to pull over people for suspision. they see a boost controler they will think your out street racing and give you trouble. but now xm and sirus is popularized, they think its that.

i had a cop at a light ask me how i mounted my xm on the windshield and i told him "magic" its actually a g-tech not illeagal or anything but he would start wondering if i told him it was a performance meter

understand?

I got stopped once at night, and my gauges were lit up, and he saw the boost one, he goes "You got a turbo in this thing?" and i was like "Yup" then he goes "I gotta tell ya, these little imports never cease to impress me, have a good one" "You too, thanks"

Oh and those meters are alright for an idea, but honestly, for that price you could get an hr or so of dyno time and see your actual WHP numbers.

Yeah where I live they really dont care about cars that have turbos and such. I mean yeah if you racing through town or something they would probably ask about illegal performance parts but around where I live cops dont really care what you have done to your car. Hell the local town that has been having street-racing problems just purchased a late 90's ecplise that has a turbo and everything, and well they use it for sting operations on street-racing. But I dont know thats really all i was looking for was something that could give me a general idea. If I knew the last thing i bought would be my last mod, I would go that route but I know my civic is a never-ending project so therefor I dont want to pay for a dyno each time i do something new.
