Default Fuel pressure regulator/ Fuel rail

What adjustable fuel pressure regulators and fuel rails does everyone use? I have a d series and the fuel system is my last upgrade area under the hood to do. Im looking for pieces in a blue color and the regulator with a gauge on it. Thank you.

I think B&M makes a FPR with a gauge on it, AEM makes a good fuel rail, Venom, I think HKS. Just search google.

Id go AEM for the rail and the regulator. They got all kinds of colors for both.

would i get a check engine light... or any power increase with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, on a basically stock engine?

Im curious to know your other engine modifications. Why do you need to Increase the fuel pressure? Any modification needing more fuel should have a better way of getting more fuel than just adding more. Youre asking for a specific color too, so im guessing your modifications arent too extreme.........Fill us in so we can steer you in the right directions. Im not trying to be a punk, just want to make sure youre getting the absolute best bang for your buck in the Horsepower dept.

To my knowledge you wont get a check engine light. However, I suppose if you increase the fuel pressure on a stock motor, you'd be running rich, and then you;d fail emissions. So then the check engine light could come on. Far as power gains, not even worth it on a stock motor.

Rage cylinder brace, ACT stage one clutch, racelite flywheel. Unorthadox pulley set. Unorthadox adjustable cam gear. Dc sports ehad, Apexi WS catback. Aem SRI, Nology hotwires and iridium plugs.

You dont need a fpr then you need all out fuel management. I am doubting you have all that being you are asking such a noobish question like do I need a fpr and fuel rail. You need management, a dyno, and like 100+ octane fuel to run that on the street and be safe.

I'm gonna go with md420 on this one. If indeed you do have all of that done (or plan to), you need management, not just more fuel. What people forget is that stock Honda injectors (240cc) are good for like 38Hp each, and that's at only 80% duty cycle. Multiply that by 4 and you are good to go up to almost 160Hp. And as md420 and I have debated, you would be VERY hard pressed to get to 160Hp naturally aspirated.

Controlling the injector pulses is the way to go, not just spurting more pressure through them.
