fuel pump location????

Default fuel pump location????

I have a 92 Honda civic and i need to change the fuel pump but i dont know where it is located at and how to get to it. Any info is greatly appreciated.

It's in the gas tank. I think you have to pull the backseat out to get to it, but don't quote me on that.

Thats right, feel along the middle of the back seat, between the bottom and top peices, there is one bolt there, i think it is a 12 or 14 mm, undo that and the whole bottom of the seat will slide foward / lift up, and you can then remove it from the car. from there you can see a roundish cover, held on by 4 or 5 bolts undo that and tou should be able to see the gas tank, then just unbolt the fuel pump/fuel sender assembly and pull it out of the tank, make sure you do this outside and away from sparks. you may also want to releive the pressure in the tank by opeing the gass cap, as well as removeing the bleader valve on the fuel filter under the hood.
