Anyone know what to about this code #1?

I'm still getting the code. Heres a pic of where I broke the orignal connector and replaced it with a makeshift one. Could this be my problem? Where is the circuit and sensor at? Have a brand new O2 sensor.

double check your wiring with a continuity tester, if its good then reset your ecu by removing the fuse from the underhood fusebox for about 30 or so seconds, then riun your car for about 5 minutes with no load and check your ecu again

which fuse do i use to reset this code?

in the fuse box under the hood, the lid has a list of fuses and their application right on top of it, its usually the second one down, but look for ecu, if you do not find the fuse, you can disconnect your battery, but then you have to reset radio presets etc.

DUh on my part. I should have known to look on the cover.

Okay did that and checked the o2 wire coming from the engine and have power.
But that stupid red light is coming on under the passenger carpet again. Any other tips?

yea, id have to say that your o2 sensor is dead... a universal is like 26.00...
