Anyone know how totune an idle without a management system? My car has been idling at around 200-300 rpms lately

i wouldnt complain if it was doin that jus fine.

but theres an idle adjustment screw on the throttle body that you can turn and adjust the idle speed

the car shakes at 200-300. like the shifter and exhaust shake a lot, like they are havin siezures

The car shakes a lot around 200-300 rpms. The shifter and exhaust shake like they are having siezures.

You can't just adjust that screw, follow the manual for setting idle.

Paperclip in the jumper by the ecu
Pull the plug on the IACV
Start car (will probably run crappy)
Adjust Idle screw until RPMs reach ~450
Shut off car
Plug in IACV
Pull paper clip out of jumper
Start car, should idle around ~650ish

keep in mind this is for 92-00 SOHC vtec motors, numbers will vary for DOHC, non-vtec, etc
