Default JDM guage cluster swap. please help

i swaped out my stock guage cluster for one from china. it pluged in and everything and works but the speed is calibrated different i think. it is in kilometers of course but for example 50 miles/hr should be 80.5 km/hr. but when i followed my mom she set her cruise control on exactly 50 and it came up that i was doing about 86 km/hr. is there a way i can fix it or do i have to take it to a shop and have it calibrated? i knnow that it is not illegal to have a speedo in km so i'm not worried about that. but if someone could give me advice on this i would greatly appreciate it.

are you sure that it was reading correctly on your old cluster? we need to find out if it's the cluster or your speed sensor that is reading incorrectly.

dito. check your tire size and be sure they are stock size. if they are not stock size tires compare those 2 sizes with a tire calculator and see if it is the right size or if not how much it will throw the speedo off....
