OBD2b to OBD1 conversion and ABS...
Hi!I 'm new in this forum(you can also read more about me inthe introduction posts) I have a european civic '00 mod. 3dr EK4 vti(b16a2) with P2T OBD2b ECU(oem), with 97.000km in perfect condition! The only tuning it has is a handmade cat back exhaust(52f diameter) and also the 2 pipes between the header and the catalic convertor are resized to 46f diameter. It also has a KN filter.
I want to buy a chiped 92-95 ECU (and harness convertor) in order to increase the hp/torgue levels of my car.I ve already found one(p28)on e-bay.
My problem is that after doing this conversion,my ABS and my immobilizerwill not work.Is that true?Do you know any way to keep my ABS after the conversion?Any similar problem from one of you?
Thank you!

do not convert back to obd1 yet anyway, with so few mods the new ecu will not help you at all... the reason for converting to obd1 from obd2 ecu's is for tuning capabilities (turbo/supercharger/all motor cars) and it will only make your car run like crap unless you have extensive mods.
leave it to obd2, if you ever plan on going more than i/h/e start doing some research, but i dont think you will be needing the converted ecu
just my 2cents though

You're right(!) but I belive that, turbo or supercharge is not the only reason for an obd2 conversion. From the moment that i changed my exhaust and also put the KN air filter, the air/fuel ratio have chanced(not dramatically but they do_more air less fuel). From the otherhand with the bigger diameter exhaust my engine "drys" quick. That's the reason that i need some changes to ratio, which obd2b can't reprogrammateand also i don't trust piggybacks etc(e.g:apexiVAFC)Additionally i will test my car on street and i will tune it again with a dyno's help. It's the 1st stage tuning.(off topic)
Am i wrong?I realy want to hear some different views..
Give some info about the ABS too please...

i dont know about the abs, wish i did. on the other hand the leaner your car is running (more air less fuel) the more power you will have... its less reliable but there is more power.
the k&n intake and exhaust will not make your air/fuels out of the ordinary. what is your lambda and or air fuel ratio? my car runs 14.0 cruising and around 13 3/4 throttle, and 12.5 about in wide open throttle... i have intake/ exhauston my car only as well atm
