Default Performance Coil

Just wondering if installing a performance coil gives any noticeable increase in horsepower. (95 EX 1.6L)

Thanks

Nope. The stock ignition system is actually much more powerful than it needs to be; it doesn't become a weak link until you're at a power level that's completely unusable on a street-driven FWD car. Basically, if it's getting spark to the combustion chambers, there's nothing more you can really do until it does become the weak link.

Personally, I'd say spend your money elsewhere.

Thanks for the input, I won't waste money on it...
