Default OBD2A harness OBD2B chassis help

In a bit of a pickle here. I recently melted a piston in my 99 LX auto sedan (D16y7). I bought a 97 LX manual sedan (D16y7) with full confidence that it was going to be plug and play. I finished the swap last night, and all that was left to do was connect the harness to the ecu and turn the key. That's when i started learning about the whole obd2a and obd2b differences. I have been on the computer for a little under 18 hours now looking for an easy fix. I really don't want to take the whole thing apart again. I have both ecu (obd2a manual and obd2b auto). My question is, it possible to unpin all of connectors on the obd2a harness and repin them on the obd2b connectors? Please help me.
