Default Proper air to fuel ratio.

I got my dyno sheet out today and noticed that my air to fuel ratio is 11.3:1. Every thing that i've read says it should be like 11.8-12.0:1. I called the guy that tuned the car and he says he did it to be on the safe side in case i got some bad fuel, but is'nt that a lot of hp left in the car? I run 94 octane and 10.5 lbs of boost on a gsr. He says i could probly get more power out of it by leaning it out, but he doesn't suggest it. I thought that 12:1 was safe, and 11:1 would almost be flooding it. Does anyone have an opinion or experience with what it should be? Should i have him lean it out, or just leave it?

I would think 12:1 would be rich enough. Someone will be along to post a more definitive answer.

It depends on what you wanna do.......you wont get THAT much more power out of it ,so why not stay safe........what are the specs on youre injectors/fuel pump etc fuel system stuff.

all motor cars should be right at about 14.7 and boosted cars run perfect at 12.5
