Retuning Needed??
 
I am currently running fully tuned at 7lbs. of boost. If i were to turn the boost up to 9lbs. do i have to get my car retuned?? Any help would be appreciated! HCF is the ****!!!

what e-management are you running and who did the tuning? Dyno or street?


yes, you need to get retuned

I have a chipped PR3 dyno tuned with crome by a performance shop (ESP tuning)

It was a flat rate of 300 bucks

You need to get re tuned for more boost

yea i kinda figured that i;m gonna need a retune. After winter is over I'm gonna get a compression and leakdown test and if everything is cool I crankin' the boost up to 10psi. and getting her tuned. Hopefully the stock internals will hold up and if not I'll be calling JE and crower for some parts!!!
