No need to chip it unless it's boosted.

Well, you would need tuning for stuff like a camshaft IMO. Not just boost. Pointless to do anything other than boost on a D series though. :D

You could chip it for launch control, removing speed govern, but you won't gain noticeable power.

if it's a stock D, that money might be more effective towards suspension. Street legal go-kart FTW!
