tuning question...

i recently installed a magnaflow performance exhaust system on my 99 ex, i plan to get a cold air intake soon. i know i have to get the car tuned to use the parts to full potential but if i get it tuned will i pass my inspection next time? if i will, where would i go to get it tuned?
thanks

Tuning would require you to either purchase a piggy back system, which is not ideal, or convert to an chipped OBD1 (usually a P28) ECU. Depending on the state you live in, this will not pass emissions. Where are you from?

Also, If you have intake/exhaust, you will see maybe 5 hp as I mentioned in your other thread. Tuning would get you about 10 more hp if that. For a full tuning system (I suggest the Hondata S300), you are looking at $500 for the unit, and ~$500 for the tuning session. Not worth the money for the gains at this time I would think.
