I just brought a 90 civic dx 5 dr Sw and was planning some upgrades. Does anyone know a good place to start. I don't want to have a drag car on my hands or anything like that just something that I can hold my own with if someone wants to play at a stop light.

 

for one this isnt a street racing web-site man! but if u were legal racing at a track or somthing n want to better your numbers id say elderbrock intake manifold with comptech headers n aem cold air intake ...expensive parts but carb legal n give off good horsepower just finishd a motor swap with all the parts installed on my buddys car
n if your going exhaust put a flowmaster not a fart can. for more u can add fuel pressure regulator n light weight rims 14's

 

i would convert it to multi port fuel injection first. if you keep it single cam, i would put an si tranny on it.
