b20 questions

I own 2 crx, 89 si, and 90 hf, the 89 has a b20 with b16 tranny it runs and everything and i want to swap the b20 into my hf, since the 89 is already set up to the way a swap should, what else do i need to do. Doesnt the wires are plug and play since its already set up the way it is or do i have to rewire it and stuff? Dont i just have to remove the harness and just swap the motor and thats it and plug and play with the wires??

RE: b20 questions

why do you want to do this swap...the hf had four wheel drums doesnt it....if the 89 is a dx or si i would just leave it...the hf is dpfi...you will need to swap the mpfi wiring to that car wich should be easy can you can just take it off your 89 and splice it...im really not sure how much extra work is involved but it seems like an unnecesary swap if there are no problems with the 89

RE: b20 questions

the hf has front discs, and is mpfi. the dx and standard models are dpfi. i think all you have to do is take the motor axlesand tranny out of the si and put it in the hf. i think you need totakethe hubs from the sibecause the hf and standard models wont take the integra axles needed for the b20.

RE: b20 questions

Yea the hf has front disc. the b20 runs and everything thanks for the advice on changing the hubs, the reason why iwanna put the b20 in the hf is that the hf has a good body, everything is almost perfect, and its around 1973lbs.thats pretty lightwith a really torquie engine, i'll do some damage. but thanks again for theadvice though.
