d15b2 to d16z6?

So, I want a little bit more power...nuthin crazy. Ive heard you can make somewhat decent power out of the z6, Im kinda green when it comes to hondas. Just bought a 1991 dx sedan and from what I hear its a straight bolt in w/slight mods here and there. Plus its my daily driver and dont want my girlfriend to kill herself.....is the z6 good bang for the buck?

Z6's are strong motors for sure. I'm not 100% sure if it's direct bolt in or not but I know a d16a6 would be, although not as good a motor as the Z6.

Its a pretty common swap. You shouldn't have any problems. I liked my old z6. Good engine.

I found a swap guide on sport compact car website. Theres some pretty useful info in it. It says its a #1 difficulty wich they (Say) its a direct bolt in with the stock honda/acura components. Not sure if its true or not.

it is a direct bolt in swap.you can use your mounts, your cable tranny, and exhaust manifold. you will have to wire in vtec, and you would have to wire your car for multi port fuel injection, because the d15b2 is dual point fuel injection. you will need a shorter throttle cable also, like one from a 90-93 integra.
