Motor Swap
I bought a 90 CRX DX with a 1.5 L non vtech motor about a year ago. About 4 months ago it began smoking and who knows what else, basically shut down and has set since then. I purchased a motor from a 2000 Civic DX, 1.6L SOHC Vtech. I would like to know the basics that may be necessary to perform this swap. If it is compatible or not. I know that I have to purchase an ECU and wiring harness since mine was not Vtech. The motor came with tranny so that is not an issue. I would like to make this a super car, but it just isn't the time. I want to do a basic swap to get the car running and worry about the upgrades later.
