New to Honda, and glad to be here

This is my 1st post here, I have a 91 civic lx, and i'm not really lookin to race, but I am looking to get some more power. I was wondering if there is a vtec that will bolt right into my motor mounts when i take my stock motor out. If there is WHERE CAN I BUY ONE? I hear about all these engine swaps, but I can only find B series everywhere I look. Also if this engine exists all I need is the motor and a new ecu with a little wiring mods right? Thanks for the help guys.

Welcome to HCF!! I'm still learning about motors myself so I won't be able to help you out but I'm sure someone will. Just do a search in the meantime and see if that helps.

You could get a D16Z6 or a D16y8 motor and ecu and make that work. From what I understand it should bolt up to your tranny right...
