Default b18c1 swap

ok i'm fairly new to the forum and i have a 94 civc w d15b7 manual tranny. i went to the junkyard to look for a mini me head and ended up finding a b18c1 from an integra. since i'm only cost 500 bucks i just need to find out some things. 1. what would i need besides the axles and ecu?? 2. would i need new engine mounts? i'd just need a list of things i would need to look for to get a total amount for the swap, or would i be better of w/ a mini me? any help??

$500 is damn cheap for a GSR, i would jump all over it. You will need the engine, transmission, ECU, axles, wiring harness and one? motor mount. Also, your going to want to install a new water pump, timing belt, and clutch just to be safe.

I'd go turbo. Since you are getting the engine for so cheap, i would rebuild the engine so you can run more boost. Since the engine has a small displacement, there is a limit to how much power you can make. When going N/A, i think that there really isn't a replacement for displacement.

but then again i havent seen the condition of the motor. if it's in bad shape i think i might need to bore it out but that's when i get lost in the piston diameters. i found a package assembled by eagle but i donno if its the right one http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku so would u think this would be the way to go??

If that is a stroker it, which i think it is, then it is prolly not the best for FI. That stroker is prolly gonna give you a higher compression ratio. This will give you more power right off the bat the but the higher compression ratio will limit what you can do forced induction wise. If you want to go NA, which is a good idea if you want some power but don't want to spend a lot of money, then this is not a bad idea. If you want to go with a turbo the best idea would be to go low compression and bore the cylinders to 85mm (this will give you a 2.0L displacement i think). Then you can run a good amount of boost (10+) and make a really good amount of horsepower. It really depends on if you are gonna go N/A or FI.
